On 21 January, Professor Finocchiaro will take part in the conference organised by the Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori, where she will speak in the first session entitled “Legislation and Privacy”. In her presentation, Professor Finocchiaro will examine the implications of the GDPR in the context of artificial intelligence, with particular focus on the issue of secondary use of data.
The event represents an important opportunity for multidisciplinary dialogue aimed at further exploring the increasingly central role of artificial intelligence in biomedical research and healthcare innovation, fostering a shared reflection on opportunities, responsibilities and future perspectives.
